Horoscopes: Virgo

They are known Virgo’s are known as virgins and as one of modesty, reliability & intelligence, but they can have a fussy and conservative side. A Virgo is also known as The Virgin or Maiden and is influenced by Mercury, Jupiter & Venus. If you didn’t know Virgo is the sixth astrological sign in the Zodiac, it is seasonally associated with the end of summer and the onset of autumn when nature having borne its fruit recedes into conservation. They are said to have a talent for projects which require precision and detail, and to excel at skills and crafts which require patience and exactitude. On the negative, they are highly sensitive to perceived criticism, and can appear to worry unduly about the need to make things as perfect as they can be. Virgos are reputed to be adept at languages, to possess a love of literature, a deep interest in history and statistics, and a good memory for details. If you know you’re a Virgo and you read star signs then here is something to feed your eyes on and see what it says about you. You will be surprised at the outcomes of it, and they are believed to change the way you think.

And here is the review of the star sign today ‘Planetary influences prevent tensions from coming out into the open until later, so everybody seems to sulk and get bad-tempered. Keep your sense of humor handy. Avoid being controlling in your emotional and domestic life. Hidden, intense feelings run just beneath the surface, but it would be more productive to go inside yourself and explore these fears and anxieties, which stem from childhood. Dynamic colors are aqua and glossy obsidian.’ Does it relate to you in anyway, when you look back? If the answer is yes then you can even look out for the next reading and you can share it with your friends.

Maybe from there on they will want to do the same, so don’t leave the behind let them in on your little secret of knowing what is about to go down before it does. It might be helpful at some point and you can fix up where you messed up and hope for the best next time.

Maceo Parker, deeply influenced by the godfather of the saxophone, James Brown, plays jazz with a little bit of some good, funky old-fashioned R & B music, whose music is much appreciated and enjoyed here in SA.
It was a little difficult to get one’s hands on his CD, “Roods Revisited”, in the past, but one can easily get hold of it now.
The band consists of organ player, Don Pullen, tenor sax player, Pee Wee Ellis and drummer Bill Stewart as well as Fred Wesley, trombonist, guitarist Rodney Jones and bassist Bootsy Collins.
The DVD “My First Name is Maceo” includes interviews with the musicians, but what beats everything hands down is the excellent music on this DVD.
Simply close your eyes and picture yourself in a church in The Deep South of the USA; you will be excused for clapping your hands and stomping your feet to the “groovy”, swinging beat.
A combination of soul and up-beat music makes the music of this jazz music perfect for all types of listening, and if you are a lover of jazz music the DVD will suit you perfectly.
‘Chaos with a Groove” aptly describes the DVD to perfection. If you love jazz, then this will satisfy your palate to perfection.

Far too much young talent is wasted when clever students and learners are unable to further their talents and ambitions due to a lack of funds available to them. This applies to youngsters right across the board. For many attending tertiary educational facilities this is a distant dream that is unattainable to many.
If you do a little research and have enough drive and ambition, your dreams need not be put on a shelf, only to be forgotten forever, Applying for any kind of aid or bursary that is available for the relevant degree or course that you have chosen is usually quite a good starting point.
A point of note is that interest rates for financial aid at most universities and colleges is usually a lot less expensive than the banks which makes this a good way to study or to borrow money. The universities are strict and demand personal information, and sometimes you are not fortunate enough to qualify for this loan. Many universities offer good financial advice and aid to their students which you can easily get online.
Applying for a loan through banks is a good options and the rates plus options are pretty similar. Usually a debit order will be put into place for the interest incurred that you will have to pay back, and the balance of the loan is usually repayable once you qualify, although a six month grace period is given in order for the borrower to find their feet at the end of the study period.
A student loan is renewed every year, as is the bank loan, and one has to reapply every year. All South Africa’s major banks offer student loans, both to South African students and to non-South African students, who are in possession of validated study permits.
When applying for a student loan, you will have to show proof of registration at an educational institution, plus someone has to sign surety.
For more on student aid and student loans contact us today for more on this topic.

Justin Bieber just finished working on his new album Under the Mistletoe, Everyone is looking forward to it but its not Justin’s main thing. He is hoping to release an album called “Believe” which he says will be awesome. The album is going to be more mature and total different from what his fans expect.

He says he was inspired by Justin Timberlake when he release his album after leaving Nsync. The album will be more mature and will hopefully attract a much older fan base. He say he wants to target people from the age 22-23. He is tired of kids following him around, he wants to enter manhood so to speak.

The is much expectations regarding the album, everyone thinks he can pull it off, but we just have to wait and see.

The next time you are unwilling to get up in the morning and have to drag your feet to get to school, think again. There are so many children all over the world that do not have the same opportunities that you do, and listed here are a couple of traditions in other countries and what it is like living in these countries:
Teen girls all over the world are not as fortunate as teens living in South Africa.
In Sri Lanka nearly half the 51 00 children that are involved in war in Sri Lanka are girls, and around the world, girls make up at least half of the 300 000 child soldiers.
In Nepal two million girls between the ages of five and fifteen are traded for the sex trade, and every year 7000 girls are trafficked into India’s prostitution districts to work as prostitutes.
In Iran it is banned to date, and males and females are kept apart until marriage. Marriages are arranged by families.
In Cameroon as is the case of nearly all families in third-world countries are unable to send their children to school, and if they are able to, then only the boys are sent to school, resulting in almost half the girls across the world being illiterate.
In Mauritania girls attend fattening farms and are forced to eat in order to fatten up in preparation for marriage – it is believed that the fatter the girl, the more space she will take up in her husband’s heart.
Although the government has banned female circumcision, it is still widely practiced on at least 74% of females; this is a cruel practice and three million girls in Africa are still forced to have FGM (female genital mutilation) carried out on them.
In the Philippines teenage females are forced to work under dangerous conditions in labour-intensive jobs that are poorly paid, and where they are underfed.
If you are interested in finding out more about studies and school, you are on the right page; simply contact us for more information.

It is no longer a surprise why the business community places its trust and confidence on the gold industry.

There are a lot of factors attributable to these gold pieces’ market value but these were trimmed down to four major ones. First is the content market value of gold which depends on the price of the gold itself. If the current price of gold is low today, the value is computed on the gold content of the coins which remains low also. But this does not apply to the rare US gold-based coins whose computation remains above all levels. Second factor is the coin’s gold grade or quality in which the higher the grade, the higher the price. Lastly, it’s a fight between the old and the new coins in which coins produced and circulated prior to 1933 cost a lot more that those which have been produced after 1933.

From the factors mentioned above, it can be figured out as a validation that it is a wiser move not to purchase coins that were made and circulated in 1933 and upwards. The purchase of modern coins depends on the current bullion price of gold. It means that the value is much lower since it is based on the prevailing market price of the gold content compared with that of the old coins whose value is greater.

If the market has no available coins that existed in 1933 and below, do not make any procurement because the worth of gold is lesser as it is price in accordance with the bullion market. When coins after 1933 are sold, do not expect to have a higher profit because it does not happen that way. However, it is must to take notice that there are some coins whose value increases after 5 years but this is rather an exemption than the rule. To ascertain that the purchase and selling of gold generates an increased income, it is indispensable to acquire knowledge from research and conduct an analysis to know more or less which coins are to be purchased or rejected if coins are for investment rather than for collection purposes.

When we discuss percussion instruments we think in terms of Cuba, India, Africa, Asia and Latin America as a whole.
After the Second World War, rhythm and jazz music was made popular by musicians Dizzy Gillespie and Chano Pozo; the musicians introduced congas to jazz in 1947.

Bongos, maracas and the Brazilian friction drum were also introduced giving jazz a Caribbean feel.

In the 1970’s and the 1980’s ancient African instruments were introduced by Don Cherry, the world-famous trumpeter.

Cymbals, gongs and bells are all percussion instruments used in jazz and blues music; most of these come from China, Bali and other parts of Asia.

Drums (drum kit) were introduced in the latter part of the nineteenth century.

Drums consist of bass drum, mounted with a foot pedal, snare drum, floor or rack-mounted tom-tom, foot-controlled hi-hat cymbals and a variety of other accent cymbals. Drummers often add other devices to their drum kits, such as wooden blocks, cowbells and drums varying in size.

The instruments used when playing jazz and blues can vary greatly, but there is a fairly standard range of instruments that are usually played in this genre of music.
Brass, read and percussion are favoured for jazz music, with origins in Europe, but African influences over the years has given it the flavour to become what it is today.

From the beginning of the 70’s jazz players branched into other instruments from all over the world, such as India, South America and also Africa.

Let us explore some of the more interesting instruments played in jazz:

Strings include the banjo, bass, cello, guitar and the violin.

The banjo is a five string instrument popular in ragtime. This instrument played a role in earlier jazz bands. Banjo player Johnny St. Cyr was an important member of Lois Amstrong’s bands.
Although the banjo made a strong appearance in the 1940’s, this string instrument is not played that often in jazz and blues bands in today’s music.

The cello is gaining popularity in modern-ay jazz music; Oscar Pettiford used the instrument in the 1950’s, as did Ron Carter in the 1970’s.Peggy Lee and Erik Friedlander are two jazz musicians that have made this instrument popular.

The violin on the other hand plays a prominent role in the jazz bands of New Orleans.
